Eco-Friendly Business Cards

With technology moving at an ever-growing rate, many companies and businesspersons are opting to use digital services, to capture and hold information from individuals they meet and network with, instead of holding onto business cards. By scanning the card information into an app, the data: is much more accessible, can be shared with ease, requires no physical space, and reduces manual input time (The Balance Small Business, 2018).

However once users are finished with the business card(s), they often get thrown into landfill with other household waste items, contributing to environmental problems. From September 2018, all of our business cards will be printed on eco-friendly paper, which is fully recyclable and biodegradable, to help reduce our carbon footprint.

The University of Southern Indiana (2018) states that: 'Each ton [...] of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, three cubic yards of landfill space, 4000 kilowatts of energy, and 7000 gallons of water. This represents a 64% energy savings, a 58% water savings, and 60 pounds less of air pollution!'.
