Digital Marketing Executive

The Company

Premier Labellers was founded in 1994 at a small farm in Harwich. Since then we have grown significantly and now reside at our current Bathside Bay site where we manufacture over 120 machines per year, and contract pack millions of product for our customers. We don't employ an outbound/direct sales team so we rely solely on our positive reputation throughout the packing industry, and we are proud to be one of few remaining true British manufacturers of self-adhesive labelling machinery.

The Position

Over the last few years our production output has grown significantly and we have invested substantial time and money into expanding our production and warehousing facilities, to increase our yearly capacity. We are now in a position where the company does very well out of repeat business and industry reputation, however what we aren't currently doing is actively marketing and producing new leads/traffic via online platforms. We hope to expand our small team by taking on a dedicated Digital Marketing Executive to help fill our new production capacity by increasing our brand exposure and generating leads to hand over to the correct department.

Main Duties

  • Content creation and creating a strong presence on social media (primarily LinkedIn).

  • Managing the website live chat and passing enquiries on to the relevant departments.

  • Actively contacting website visitors to increase new business leads generation.

  • Project manage and deliver end-to-end SEO campaign performance.

  • Monitor campaign performance, timelines and budgets and report on these.

  • Use a variety of analytical tools to assess company marketing strategy.

  • Production and development of our range of marketing materials.

  • Strategic development and ongoing maintenance of company website.

  • Planning and research projects to support the growth of the business.

  • General administrative duties.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous SEO and/or marketing experience.

  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud (or similar systems).

  • Ability to work with (or adapt to) Wix website builder and live chat systems.

  • A positive and professional attitude

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • To be highly self-motivated and have the ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.

  • Excellent IT skills.

  • A degree in Marketing may be beneficial but is not a requirement.

The Location and Working Hours

This position is a full time role: 08:30 – 17:00 Mon – Thur, 08:30 – 16:00 Fri.

You will be located at our Bathside Bay site in Harwich, Essex.

Expected Salary

£20,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience).
