New Base Labeller for LUSH Worldwide

Lush cosmetics have recently purchased three base labelling machines, one of the machines will be installed in Poole, Dorset while the other two machines will be sent to their manufacturing plants in Vancouver and Toronto. We have designed and proven our unique solution for base labelling, which has been a great success for their gift packing operations.



The retractable labelling head is designed for ease of operation and access to the integrated ICE coder. A unique spilt conveyor belt design enables accurate label application to the base of the product.

The ICE Zodiac Plus printer provides the ability to print variable data on line, including barcodes, graphics, and text. The thermal transfer print technology provides 300 dpi print resolution, operator control and data management is provided by the “Clarity” colour touchscreen interface. Zodiac has built-in network and USB connectivity as standard, providing the ability to source data directly from a central database.

The Zodiac has developed an enviable reputation for reliability, largely due to it’s patented “solid state” ribbon drive system which removes the wear parts normally associated with thermal transfer coders.

This machine offers true efficiency at speed by combining two technologies into a versatile system that can be fully integrated into existing production lines.
